Food Truck Rules
Food trucks will only be allowed to set up at these following parks.
- Founders Square
- Woodland Park
- Gilbert Park
- Imagination Glen West
Food trucks will only be allowed to set up with the Portage Parks and Recreation approval. The Parks Department reserve the right to blockout dates due to festivals/sports events.
Permission to set up must be submitted to [email protected] at least one week before the desired date.
An application fee of $25 is required to be paid to the Portage Parks Department.
A fee of $300 is required to be paid in full to the Parks Department office for a one year permit. The permit is valid from March 1st – December 31st of each year regardless of the date you require it.
Food trucks much clean up and dispose of trash before leaving the park.
Food trucks must follow all the rules/regulations of the Porter County Health Department. A copy of these items must be submitted when applying for the permit.
