Food Truck Rules


Food trucks will only be allowed to set up at the following parks:

  • Founders Square
  • Woodland Park
  • Gilbert Park
  • Imagination Glen West

Food trucks vendors will only be allowed to set up with Portage Parks and Recreation approval.  Portage Parks and Recreation reserves the right to blackout dates due to festivals/sports events.

Set up requests must be submitted to [email protected] at least one week in advance.

An application fee of $25 is required to be paid to Portage Parks and Recreation.

A fee of $300 is required to be paid in full to Portage Parks and Recreation for the one season permit.  This permit is valid from June 1st – December 31st  2020.

Food truck vendors must clean up and dispose of their trash before leaving the park.

Food truck vendors are required to follow all the rules/regulations of the Porter County Health Department.
